We've gone all festive and produced our very own Christmas tree - you can't smell the needles and you can't reach up to drape the lights around its branches, but it does have presents around the base and a star on the top and more importantly, you can enjoy it wherever you and your laptop are.
Try out GraphicoDMG's augmented reality Christmas tree. This is our first augmented reality project to go live and we wanted to share it with you. If you've lots of experience in this new 3D virtual world, you'll know that you need to switch on your web cam, print out the the special tree marker and then hold the paper up to the camera. And the Christmas tree will appear. If this is your first tentative step into augmented reality, we've made it easy with some step by step instructions. If you don't have a web cam, you can still share the experience by viewing the video demonstration.
It's a bit of festive fun and we'd love to know what you think of it.
And of course, merry Christmas from everyone at Goldwell House.
