
FGW is the train operator providing high speed, suburban and regional rail services from the South Coast to South Wales, the West of England, the Cotswolds and the Thames Valley, and serving London through Paddington Station.
The first piece of work has been the creation of a new website which reflects the new franchise's services. The site provides customers with an improved online experience, making it easier to plan journeys, check fares and ticket types and purchase tickets.
GraphicoDMG are also working with FGW to provide strategic consultation, website design and build, online advertising, mobile integration, eCRM and accessibility and improved SEO, ensuring that the new site provides customers with the best on line experience for travel across the region.
The site was recently named Winner of the prestigious Revolution Awards 2007 in the 'Leisure and Travel' category. It also gained top marks in an independent survey of more than 70 sites, commissioned by Railway Technology magazine, for its functionality, failure levels, ease of use and accessibility.
